The small town of Göcek is in the Turkish province of Muğla, away from mass tourism. The sailing area, the archipelago of Göcek, has a length of 8 nm and is approx. 2.5 nm at the widest point. With a yacht charter, you can discover the bays of Boynuzbükü, Tasyaka (Springs Bay), Küçük Sarsala, Tersane, Manastir Koyu and Göbün. There are restaurants with jetties and mooring lines in each of these bays.
Within one week you can sail from Mucev Marina across the Gulf of Fethiye to Gemiler Reede. On this sailing trip we recommend a swim stop at the beach of Butterfly Valley (Ködürümsü Liman).
The eastern sailing route from Mucev Marina goes via Gemiler Reede to Kalkan, a picturesque artists' village. Within a 2-week cruise, the towns of Kastelorizon, Kas and Kekova can also be reached. One of the most fascinating underwater landscapes in Turkey awaits sailors there. The most famous sight in Kekova is the sunken city of Dolikhiste.
Another popular destination is the Turkish beach Ölüdeniz in Lycia, whose name means "dead sea". This beach has been a protected nature reserve since 1988 and is considered the most beautiful in Turkey. It is in the bay of the same name, framed by pine forests.

Our Pitter fleet is in the modern Mucev Marina. There are several supermarkets, restaurants, and bars in the marina. Branches of Is Bank, Akbank and Yapi Bank are present in Göcek and are open Monday to Friday. The marina also includes the luxury villa district "Portville", a Turkish Little Venice.
Shopping in Göcek
In Göcek there are 4 large grocery shops and countless small shops for daily needs. There are also shops with gifts and art, carpet and jewellery dealers and countless boutiques for clothing. A scenic promenade with many good restaurants and bars stretches along the sea from the village of Göcek.
Getting to Mucev Marina in Göcek
The transfer from the easily accessible Dalaman International Airport to our base is only 20 minutes. If you arrive by plane, we are happy to recommend our external reliable taxi service, which will take you directly to the marina. If desired, please let us know at least one week before charter.
There is paid parking near the marina, about 50m away. The price is 30 Turkish Lira (approx. €3,60) per day. The base manager is Mr Volkan Ahmet Ceylan.
