Insurance
The right insurance cover for your trip
We recommend that you close deposit insurance, skipper liability insurance and trip cancellation insurance.
Deposit insurance
On every trip, minor or major damage can quickly occur, a brief lack of attention is often enough. Therefore, a deposit must be paid on site for each trip.
If you have closed deposit insurance, in the event of damage, the deposit paid on site will be retained until you have settled the damage through your insurance company. You will then receive your deposit back in full or in part, depending on the insurance conditions.
If the insurance company refuses to pay or if you haven't closed a deposit insurance, there can be discrepancies and blame within the crew, which in retrospect gives a wonderful holiday a negative aftertaste.
We recommend the Pitter deposit coverage
In order to enable you to have a carefree trip, we have created our Pitter deposit coverage. You pay a one-time fee based on the size of the booked yacht, which covers damage to the yacht, damage to the sails (mainsail and genoa) and damage to the dinghy including the outboard engine.
Send us an inquiry to info@pitter-yachting.com and we will create a personal offer for you.
Your advantages when taking out the Pitter deposit coverage:
- No deposit payment required on site (Exception: Sardinia, Marina Dell’Isola)
- No claims settlement with the insurance company, we take care of that
Our Pitter deposit coverage is valid at the following bases:
- Croatia: Veruda & Polesana (Pula), Zadar, Biograd, Jezera & Hramina (Murter), Trogir, Split
